From 2007 to 2011, our practice operated as a franchise of Ameriprise Financial. We shared our Winchester office space with two fellow Ameriprise advisors. In 2011 we founded Boston Standard, won the coin flip, and got to keep our office suite. The Ameriprise advisors moved to Burlington, leaving us with plenty of breathing room and an unused office. We always hoped to find an estate planning attorney or CPA to lease it, but most who inquired needed more space for filing cabinets, etc. than we could offer. That is until we met the partners of Dwyer, Ruggieri, Spino & Gonclaves. They were interested in expanding their existing business to Winchester. With primary locations in Newton & Beacon Hill, they only needed the open office and use of the conference room. In addition to helping us offset some of our expenses, we’re pleased to have attorneys of their experience and breadth of expertise at hand.
